SOtech ride a century

5th August 2013

Sunday saw the inaugural Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 take place, starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then following a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. SO tech’s lycra clad Richard and Jamie were lucky enough to get a place on what is likely to become one of the calendars hottest cycling events, and were joined by around 16,500 other cyclists taking on leg-testing climbs made famous by the London 2012 Olympics such as Box Hill and Leith Hill.

Both Richard and Jamie completed the 100 miles in respectable times of 5:14:43 and 5:34:55 respectively, though not without any hiccups with Richard suffering two punctures within the first 20 miles!

Well done chaps!
